The smaller fish live in the more shallow areas. They feed on algea which grows on the rocks which surrounds their enviroment. The smaller fish keep the algea from becoming too populated. The smaller fish also are food to other predators, like the birds. The birds eat the smaller fish keeping their population down. By keeping the population down of the smaller fish, the algea's population will also be kept in place. The smaller fish also have bigger fish as predators but because their habitat is so shallow and sorounded by rocks and many hiding places, I don't think that the bigger fish that would feed on them can even get close. The birds that feed on the smaller fish don't really have any predators. They instead were the predators, by scavengering for fish and trying to catch them. Crabs are also living among all of these animals. They are living in the rock wall. They are most likely scavengers and they also help decompose fish that are dead. The predators of the crab would be bigger species of birds and big species of fish, but I havn't seen any over there yet.
